About This Product

The Beam Alert Wireless Infrared Door Entry Chime System detects an interrupted infrared beam and sends a wireless signal to its speaker. Choose a Ding Dong chime or siren alert for entrances, garage doors, overhead doors, supermarkets, restaurants and warehouses.

No wiring is required between the sensor and speaker. Both units require 12V DC power from the included adapters, so this is not a battery-powered, completely wire-free system.

Sunlight can activate the sensor in some situations. Consider sunlight exposure when choosing the sensor location. The IP55 rating applies only to the sensor, not to the speaker.
