About This Product
The DCMT-4000 is a passive infrared wireless motion detector with a 1 mile* radio range. The DCMT-4000 sensor operates on one 9-volt battery (not included). It will detect a person or vehicle from over 50 feet away and send a signal back to the receiver within a 1 mile. Operating Range: -30°F to 120°F

Note: This transmitter is only compatible with the DCR-4000 receivers.
